Hey all. We're going to look at a 2015 346flr on Sunday, and will most likely be buying it. We'll be living in it full time for the next year or two, parked in one spot. We're near Wichita, KS, so winter temps will get down to below freezing for solid periods of time, and there will be occasional short cold snaps of up to -20.

It has the 4 seasons package, but I'm wondering if you all could tell me if there are extra precautions we should take to keep things from freezing up. Thanks in advance!

If you are going to be permanetly set you might want to put insulation around the outer area to enclose the bottom. I have had mine on a trip where when I stopped for the nite temps were below zero. Driving all day the water system froze up but once I stopped and got the heater going, set at 68, within about 30 minutes water was working and the inside started to warm up.Dave

We have a 2017 RT340FLR and have camped in zero-degree weather. If you are stationary, highly suggest putting a skirt around your unit. I also cut a vent on the left side of the electric fireplace for better airflow, which we use a lot. Also, keep the blinds closed unless you can direct sunlight in the trailer. The "flex duct" that is used throughout the trailer is poor. I took the time to replace 100% of the duct work with rigid, insulated 4" ducts.

As mentioned before, skirt your trailer, but don't use hay/straw bales. That invites rodents and is a significant fire hazard.
