Sagging Slide

Living room slide hangs noticeably lower than the bunk house slide. Is this a cable adjustment issue? This slide also has issues binding, bucking, when going in or out. 2014, no rollers, just wear bar. My understanding is rollers will help with the binding issue. Not sure if they are related issues. I have not owned anything with cable slides so this is a learning experience.

As far as I know, with a flush floor slideout with a wear bar, there is a roller at each end with a rubber compression block below the roller. The compression blocks can get old and stay partially compressed and the slideout will catch on the edge when coming back in. Google rv compression block.
I would think that the sag can be controlled with cable adjustment. There should be a very slight pitch to the slideout roof to keep rain away from getting inside.

Thanks JK. I ordered new blocks, and adjusted the cables. Adjusting the cables helped with some of the motion issues while operating the slide. Hopefully the compression blocks help the sag.

I couldn't find much about replacing these. I jacked the slide up and attempted to follow the BAL instructions first. It's 102* heat index today so that got old quick. 1/4" battery ratchet, and 9/16" wrench, pulled the bolt and roller plate out, cleaned up the old rubber, slid the new blocks in, bolted it back together. I would have unscrewed the lower wiper seal on the ends if I did it again. Hopefully this will help someone in the future.

Slide operation is much smoother. Unfortunately I cannot fully open the slide next to the garage so I will have to wait until it comes out again for the next trip or project.

Total cost $34 from our local RV dealer. Much cheaper than adding the additional rollers I thought I needed.

Thanks again @JKJavelin
