Market for used campers, especially OR models

Just a question about market trends….has anyone listed, and sold their OR trailer, anywhere, any model?

We listed our trailer to sell in November, in many website, locally and other locations. So far got few inquirers.
I have reviewed what the current used market price may bare, including visiting in JD Powers recommendations of potential value/pricing of used campers, and ours.

Did get few local offers, but they are far less than what we deemed a reasonable selling price point for our trailer. We not desperate, don’t want to “give it away”.

In searching the many web sites of campers listed, amazed of what others are selling theirs, essentially giving them away. And the quantity of units listed, of all manufacturers.

We own the darn thing, not the bank. Our storage fee is the concern, we do keep it covered. And that fee been going up each year. :-(

Well Mickey, it appears nobody here is able to answer your question. I know that the previous couple of years, people were paying top dollar for rvs, new and used, but now the dealer we bought ours from is now discounting 2022s 30-35% off (no longer an OR dealer).
When we left the CHR last August, the highway going north was under construction, so I went down to hwy 20 heading east and started the GPS up. It took us through some shortcuts east of Shipshewana heading north on some tiny roads. We passed a farmer's field that was packed with new TTs with tall weeds growing between them.
Looks like a buyer's market right now.

Hi Mickey. Austin Crehan here.
We sold our 5th wheel in April of 22. I have no magical words or catchy phrases/secrets. I did put a lot of time into researching, calling others selling their rvs, etc.I had an idea of what it would bring.

I can say the unit was immaculate, my maintenance was current, etc. Usual amount of scams, i.e. parties wanting to sell it for me, etc.

I use 1 vehicle in these transactions today: electronic transfer of funds. I was amazed at the number of prospective buyers, they were mainly lookers, that had no clue of what electronic transfers were all about.

Austin, thanks for good info.
Probably the market not get better soon. As to be a motivational trend for folks to buy. The recent year big C effect, made folks buy to get away, and big demands. Now they selling out. Price, fuel and interest rates impact.
