Hello,
We have a 2014 Open Range Roamer. A blizzard is moving in and we are anticipating losing power. Temps are expected to plummet. Does the furnace igniter/blower run on the battery? Thank you in advance!

Yes. But the furnace blower uses a lot of juice. It might drain the battery overnight or the next day if it's really cold. A small generator would help tremendously to recharge it. Stay safe.

One caveat: test your trailer battery and be certain it is good. Battery state of charge needs to be at 80% or better. Figure on the furnace exhausting the battery overnight if the temps are below freezing. I used a generator as noted earlier. The one I have is a Harbor Freight '3500 Predator' this gives me piece of mind and always a warm sleep.
