I have a 2023 roamer 234RL and plan to convert to Lipo house batteries. The dealer is telling me my convertor will auto detect the type of battery being charged and automatically adjust to the battery type. Has anyone else done this conversion, and where can I find my convertor to determine make and model? I have found the settings on the BMPRO controller so I can manually change the solar charger to Lipo, but I'm not sure if I need to put in the total Amp Hours for the size of the bank (210) or the size of the individual batteries (105)?

Thanks in advance,
Scott

On my 5er I had to install a new converter when I had the lithium batteries installed. I don't know anything about the converter you have.Dave

Yes as I have the residential fridge. My agm batteries were on their last leg and would only last about 4-5 hours of use. I had just replaced my inverter as the original one quit working with no warning. I had 2 206 amp hour SOK Batteries with built in heaters installed. I was looking the other day and they are a couple of hundred dollars cheaper now.Dave

I’m happy to hear you’re having good luck. I went with two Epoch 105 amp with heaters and blue tooth. Our old 65 amp hour flooded cell batteries weren’t even close to enough, but it what the dealer provided when we purchased the 5th wheel and I didn’t pay attention.
