5th wheel awning replacement

Much frustration trying to repair/replace the 16' awning on my 2016 MF337RLS. Lost the arms when a tree branch fell on the front (motor end). Sheared off the roller tube end cap pin and crumpled both arm sets. Carefree Longitude awning (discontinued) and uses short mounting brackets - 56" long. Carefree sells Compass arm sets as a replacement but won't sell an end cap - just the complete tube assembly. My tube survived but for the pin. All the new awning sets I find have mounting brackets at least 10 " longer.

Has anyone here been able to find a complete powered awning kit with "short" arm mounts? I'm ready to kick Carefree to the curb.
