Hello,

We’ve lost power to multiple outlets in the trailer, one on the pantry side of the island, above the countertop and the one for the TV. Having difficulty troubleshooting what could be the issue. The only gfci outlet I can find is the master bath and it’s working. Everything else seems to have power, running on shore power full time. Breakers are all on and fuses seem to be ok. Anything else I can check? Are there any fuses elsewhere other than the breaker panel under the control center? Could we have shorted something out with an appliance plugged into that island outlet? Appreciate any suggestions to try.

Thanks!

Check the cord where it plugs into the side of the trailer and make sure it is twisted fully clockwise--

if not you will lose one leg of the 120 volt at the panel. If you have a meter you can check that voltage

at the 50amp breaker--you should have 120 v to ground at the top of each breaker.

These outlets are daisy chained, one after another for the most part. If you know how to handle electricity and a meter, you'll probably need to go around and check each outlet's connection going downstream for power. They use the cheapest junk for hardware and it might be a bad or burned connection.

Thanks guys, found the cause was that one outlet in the series had 3 lines going into it. For these backstab outlets it was too much and wasn’t secure/shorting out. Everything is working again except the bathroom fan, maybe a separate issue.

I’m having the same exact issue. If you don’t mind me asking which outlet (location in rv) had the 3 daisy chained wires with your bad connection?
